6 Moves for the Lower Back

It’s one of the most common ailments I’ve run across in working with people from athletes to new exercisers, and speaking from experience, it can be debilitating and soul crushing. It’s something that I’d wish on no one, but the statistics on the number of us who will experience it at some point in our lives are distressingly bad.

But it’s not an inevitability!

Resolution: Move Better

I’ve always hated New Years resolutions. Admittedly, it’s always been a bit of an irrational hatred. There’s nothing wrong with using the symbolic fresh start to make important changes. It’s just never been an approach that worked for me, and as a personal trainer I’ve seen it fail over and over for others as well. 

Sustainable Fitness

Logic dictates that if logging hours at the gym and counting macros (or calories, take your pick) is what’s required to be healthy and fit, then you either have to do those things forever or accept that, as soon as you stop, you forego any expectation of health and fitness. I say that’s an extreme view.
